The Nurul Quran Hafizia Madrasa, located within the Pagla Mosque & Islamic Complex, Kishoreganj, is a religious educational institution established on 4th September 2000. It operates under the financial and administrative oversight of the mosque complex. The madrasa is devoted to nurturing Islamic education, particularly focused on Qur’an memorization (Hifz) and classical Islamic teachings.
Currently, 130 orphaned and underprivileged students are enrolled. They are provided with complete support—covering education, food, clothing, and accommodation—by the mosque authority. The students reside inside the mosque premises, fostering a close-knit, spiritually uplifting environment.
Each year, the madrasa opens admission to new students, prioritizing orphans and children from underprivileged backgrounds. The selection process is designed to be fair and compassionate.
The madrasa currently has a total of 10 staff members, including teachers and support personnel. There are 6 experienced teachers in the Hifz (Qur'an memorization) department who are dedicated to helping students become Hafiz. Additionally, there is 1 teacher for the Nazira (recitation) department, 1 teacher for general education, and 2 support staff members, including cooks and caretakers. Together, they work tirelessly to provide a well-rounded religious and moral education for all the students.
